As a Security Officer Badge Room Attendant in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support badge-related processes while providing outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine site observations, and contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team culture built on teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, badge and credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or incidents in required logs and reports, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter zones, remaining attentive to unusual activity, equipment issues, and other security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
