TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Jacksonville, North Carolina, 28546!

Job Title: Med/Surg/Telemetry RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience License: NC or compact license in hand at time of submission Certifications: CPI, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Proven experience with heparin, insulin, and Lasix drips - Proficient in managing patients with cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic conditions - Ability to float to like acuities or less as needed Description: Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager. All requests for time off must be included in the submission to be honored at the time of the offer. No time off will be accepted, inclusive of the holiday. Shift is 3x12s, nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. Weekends and holidays are included in the schedule. No call is required. The traveler is expected to float to similar or lesser acuities if necessary. Meditech experience is preferred. The patient population consists of a variety of conditions, including cardiac issues, diabetes management, CHF, COPD, renal disease, general surgery, and orthopedics. The unit operates with a ratio of 1 nurse to 6 patients. Candidates need to have current certifications in ACLS and BLS, as well as training in CPI. Experience with relevant protocols such as heparin and IV insulin is essential.
