PSC Manager - Stony Brook, NY

Natera seeks a PSC Manager in Stony Brook, NY to perform phlebotomy services and oversee patient service center operations. The role involves blood specimen collection, quality assurance, staff management, and program oversight to support patient volume growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and finger sticks while maintaining specimen integrity and aseptic technique
- Verify test requisitions and patient identifications; resolve discrepancies with leadership
- Track specimens and maintain quality-control logs; report KPIs to management biweekly
- Oversee phlebotomy program including staff training, scheduling, and vendor management as volume grows
- Manage patient service center equipment and supplies; coordinate restock travel as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience
- 5+ years high-level customer care experience
- State phlebotomy license if required by jurisdiction
- HIPAA/PHI privacy and compliance training completion within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Knowledge of general phlebotomy procedures and state regulations
