Responsibilities Serve as clinical guidance and on‑site point person for sonographers Provide day‑to‑day supervision of MFM sonographers, including performance oversight, workflow accountability, and input into formal performance evaluations in coordination with Clinic Manager Perform detailed maternal fetal ultrasound assessment, including functional assessments Perform basic and detailed obstetrical ultrasound examinations in all three trimesters, including transvaginal and transabdominal scanning Be able to perform specialty ultrasound exams such as twin‑to‑twin transfusion evaluations and cardiac assessment Provide guidance for in‑and outpatient fetal procedures (such as shunt placement, IUT, fetal surgery) Maintain and support regional site accreditation and compliance Assess prenatal and postnatal studies to meet AIUM QI requirements Support the development of, update, and implement scanning protocols Assist with onboarding and training of new sonographers and staff Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent experience. Completion of and graduation from a formal AMA approved ultrasound technology program, or equivalent experience. (AMA is the approver of CAAHEP accreditation; please refer to CAAHEP site to view complete listing of accredited programs). Required Credentials American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) credentialed; or able to obtain within 12 months of employment. BLS for Healthcare Providers. Preferred Pediatric experience. Compensation Range $56.30 - $91.12 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full‑time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
