Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Behavioral Health License: Current RN license required Certifications: Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) required; Drug Test (10 panel screening including opiates) required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health Unit or Psychiatric settings Travel experience required Description: MUST have a criminal background check, including Child Abuse clearance, to clear prior to employment. All background checks must be fully cleared; instant or statewide searches will not be accepted. Titers must be current within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB. Candidates will have the option to start on Monday or Tuesday. There is a possibility of floating within a 25-mile radius of the facility. The unit has 14 beds, with an average daily census of around 7 patients. Patient ratios are approximately 1:6. The population includes adults aged 18 to 65 with anxiety, depression, manic disorders, borderline personality disorders, and suicidal ideation. Dress code is scrubs; any color is acceptable while inappropriate attire should be avoided. Candidates should submit a full application packet, including a resume and skills checklist.
