Candidates must have trauma CT experience and venipuncture skills.All CT techs are required to provide a copy of their High School or College Diploma.
Description:This is a comprehensive diagnostic and interventional CT unit.The facility features a total of four CT scanners, with two located on this unit.The unit has a total of eight staff members, operating with a volume of approximately 2,600 procedures per month.Patient ratios consist of 47% inpatient, 49% emergency, and 4% outpatient.Equipment used includes GE 64 slice VCT, GE 16 slice Brightspeed, and 2 GE 16 slice Optima.The electronic medical record system includes Meditech RIS and McKesson PACS.Ideal candidates will have experience performing cardiac CT and interventional CT guidance.The department emphasizes high quality, customer, and employee safety and satisfaction.This unit is recognized for its commitment to excellence through ACR accreditation in all imaging modalities.It is also designated as a Level II trauma center and has accreditation for stroke and chest pain management.
