Interventional Rad Tech – Cath LabEmployment Type Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite | 7:30am – 5:00pmRole Summary:Performs and assists in direct and indirect patient care before, during, and after cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures under physician supervision. Ensures safe, high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients through critical thinking, accurate documentation, and effective collaboration with the healthcare team.Responsibilities:Assist physicians with invasive procedures including cardiac cath, vascular angiograms, stenting, and pacemaker implantsScrub, circulate, and/or provide hemodynamic monitoring during proceduresPrepare and drape patients; set up sterile fields and equipmentPosition patients and C-arm for optimal imagingAssess, reassess, and document patient status (vitals, history, medications, labs, etc.)Initiate and maintain IV access and oxygen therapy per ordersPerform EKG monitoring and glucometer testingAdminister medications, including moderate sedation, under physician supervisionMonitor and manage procedure sites, including hemostasis and complicationsOperate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images (ARRT required)Provide post-procedure and discharge instructions to patients and caregiversMaintain sterile technique and adhere to all regulatory and safety standardsCollaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient careDocument all care accurately and in a timely mannerQualifications:Required:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programCurrent Ohio Radiographer licenseCurrent ARRT (R.T.) certificationBLS (AHA) certificationStrong clinical and critical thinking skillsPreferred:Advanced ARRT certification (CV, CI, or VI)ACLS (or obtained within one year)RCIS certificationBenefits:Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.401(k) with employer matchPTORelocation Assistance Monday–Friday schedule — no weekends
