Development & Communications Coordinator

Orange Grove Centers is seeking a creative, organized, and relationship-focused Development & Communications Coordinator to join our Development team. This position offers the opportunity to use your writing, communication, project management, relationship-building, and creative skills to help advance the mission of Orange Grove Centers and increase engagement with our employees, volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters. In this role, you will help develop compelling communications, support grant research and reporting, coordinate volunteer opportunities, maintain donor and volunteer information, create digital and social media content, and strengthen communication across the organization. You will work with departments throughout Orange Grove to gather stories, information, and outcomes that demonstrate the impact of our work. You'll help turn those stories into content that connects people to our mission and inspires them to get involved. Writing Samples Required: Please provide examples of your writing that demonstrate your communication skills. Examples may include social media content (required), newsletters, press releases, articles, blog posts, marketing materials, academic writing, or other professional or college writing sample. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in communications, non-profit management, business or other related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong attention to detail Professionalism and discretion Ability to work collaboratively across departments Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common digital communication tools Preferred: Experience with grant writing or grant administration Experience with nonprofit fundraising or development Social media/content creation experience CRM/database experience Volunteer coordination experience Marketing or communications experience Experience creating newsletters, press releases, or digital content #J-18808-Ljbffr Orange Grove Center, Inc.
