Description:
The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for supporting business growth by managing customer relationships, processing orders, providing product support, and driving sales activity. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers while working closely with branch operations and sales teams to deliver exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions based on customer needs.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Track orders and shipments while providing timely customer updates.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support outbound sales efforts and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Collaborate with branch operations and sales teams to improve customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records within company systems.
- Previous customer service, inside sales, sales support, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
- Experience in building materials, manufacturing, distribution, construction products, or related industries preferred.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and build customer relationships.
