Position: Meat Cutter / Production Specialist

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm

About the Role:

An established local food production and retail business in the Summerfield area is seeking a skilled and dependable  Meat Cutter to join their team. This position is responsible for processing products, maintaining high standards of presentation, and assisting with daily back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trim, cut, section, and prepare various cuts of product according to established specifications and standards.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment safely, including saws, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers.
• Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and package products properly for retail display or customer delivery.
• Maintain strict sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards throughout the processing area.
• Support general shop operations, product handling, and team tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or meat room associate.
• Strong knowledge of cutting techniques, food safety, and equipment operation.
• Ability to work efficiently, follow precise instructions, and manage time well.
• Physical endurance to stand for extended periods, work in cold environments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
