Associate Administrator Critical Access

We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to serve as the Associate Administrator Critical Access, acting as the hospital's administration representative during off-shift hours to ensure smooth operations and uphold patient safety and quality standards.

The Associate Administrator Critical Access provides leadership and oversight for hospital operations acting as the primary hospital representative to staff, patients, visitors, and the community. This role involves maintaining collaborative relationships across departments, facilitating communication, resolving operational and clinical issues, and promoting high-quality, safe patient care. The Associate Administrator Critical Access ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and standards while supporting staff and addressing patient concerns. Key responsibilities include acting as the hospital's administration representative fostering effective communication with staff, patients, visitors, and community stakeholders; maintaining collaborative relationships both interdepartmentally and intra-departmentally to ensure operational efficiency; resolving clinical, operational, and personnel issues promptly, promoting a culture of safety and quality patient care; overseeing hospital functions, coordinating resources, and supporting staff to maintain smooth operations; ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and hospital policies; and serving as a resource and decision-maker for clinical and operational matters.

Qualifications and requirements include a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience; an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); additional advanced life support certifications may be required per department policies; and completion of Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year of meeting eligibility requirements. Preferred experience includes 5-7 years of relevant clinical experience, proven leadership ability to act as a hospital representative and manage operational issues, strong communication skills and the ability to resolve problems efficiently, and knowledge of hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
