Requirements

• Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (2 years minimum per general policy unless otherwise stated) 2. Cases: All aspects of Respiratory Care from neonates to geriatrics, including intubation and Arterial Blood Gasses 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, STABLE required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: TN state license or active compact license required at submission 5. Education: Must be RRT, cannot accept CRT 6. EMR: Epic experience within last 12 months required and must be documented on profile; must pass Epic competency exam (one attempt only) 7. Shifts/Call: 17:45-06:15 shifts with every other weekend required 8. RTO: All RTO must be disclosed at submission; additional RTO not approved after submission; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Must indicate if candidate is return traveler for staffing approval confirmation 10. Travel/Local: Locals and first time travels accepted at same rate 11. Background: Any known background hits must be disclosed at submission for AM review 12. Modules: 36 orientation hours; additional 10 unbillable orientation hours if Epic experience requirement not met 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Epic experience within last 12 months required Critical: Must have ABG endorsement. Two supervisory references required at submission. Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven. Patient ratio experience of 15.
