Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that incorporate the unique cultural backgrounds and experiences of each patient. \n
- Formulate tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that resonate with individual patient needs. \n
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing resilience and addressing mental health challenges. \n
- Work in cooperation with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and coordinated care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong calmness and composure. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources. \n
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care. \n
- Engage in team meetings and case discussions, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the cultural competence of our services. \n
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health to continually improve service delivery. \n
You will primarily work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including but not limited to individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant groups. Your work will not only aim to address mental health issues but will also ensure that culturally specific needs are respected and understood, promoting healthier outcomes and enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California. \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and culturally responsive treatment approaches. \n
- Prior experience in a similar role, providing individual therapy and group sessions using culturally inclusive practices. \n
- Exceptional crisis intervention skills and a proven ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to establish rapport with a diverse client base. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology. \n
- Commitment to professional ethics, including confidentiality and boundary maintenance. \n
- A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. \n

- Experience working in a telehealth setting or providing remote therapy services. \n
- Certifications or specialized training in culturally competent practices or trauma-informed care. \n
- Familiarity with community resources and support networks for diverse populations. \n
The annual salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
