Location: Alexandria, VA Timeline: Early 2027 through Summer or Fall 2027 (Dates, duration, and schedule are highly flexible-we just need the help!) Our premier, physician-owned private practice in Alexandria, VA, is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB-GYN to assist with coverage starting in early 2027 . Whether you are looking for a temporary locum assignment, coverage between opportunities, or a short-term assignment with maximum flexibility, we are open to working around your availability. Everything from start/end dates to weekly scheduling is negotiable. Why Choose This Temporary Role? Balanced Call & Workflow: Enjoy a manageable delivery volume and the significant advantage of taking call from home (frequency of call shifts is highly flexible!). Modern Surgical & Clinical Setup: Practice full-scope OB-GYN care with dedicated block time at Inova Alexandria Hospital for minimally invasive procedures, supported by a tenured surgical team and a modern L&D floor. Flexible Coverage Terms: Whether you can cover a few months, stay through the summer/fall, or work a tailored shift schedule, we are willing to adapt to fit your preferences. Clinical & Hospital Highlights: Comprehensive Care: In-office procedures (hysteroscopies, LEEP, colposcopies) and full-spectrum OB-GYN services. Hospital Partner: Inova Alexandria Hospital (level III NICU, modern L&D unit, dedicated operating room block time, experienced staff). Work-Life Quality: Home-based call and a manageable schedule designed to prevent burnout.
