Travel position for a CT Tech. Schedule: Thursday through Saturday from 7 PM to 7 AM. Typical staffing includes 4 techs and a supervisor daily. On weekends, the staffing is 3 techs during the day and 1 tech at night. Day shift consists of 2 techs working from 7 AM to 5 PM and 9 AM to 9 PM. Afternoon coverage is provided Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Night shift coverage includes 1 tech from 7 PM to 7 AM. A cross-trained tech located in X-ray moves between X-ray and CT as needed. The unit has 2 in-house scanners (128-slice and 16-slice) and 1 mobile unit (64-slice). The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current CT Tech experience. The ideal candidate will possess night shift experience with trauma level I or II. Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS is preferred. Typical procedures performed in this unit include CTA, ABD PELV, CAP PELV, and CAP. The best candidates will be highly motivated, possess strong critical thinking abilities, and show a willingness to work as a team.
