Location Edgewater, NJ (Serving Bergen & Hudson Counties) Employment Type Full-Time About The Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a growing mobile outpatient therapy team serving patients throughout North Jersey. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care directly in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, and day programs. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). Deliver care to patients in homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, and day programs. Assist patients in achieving functional goals and improving mobility. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Schedule Average of 30 patient care hours per week. Typical caseload of 5-7 patients per day. Flexible route scheduling. Minimal weekend requirements. Qualifications Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License. Reliable transportation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Home care or outpatient therapy experience. Neuro and/or geriatric experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
