Regional Merchandising Director - Midwest & Mid-Atlantic

Summary The Regional Merchandising Director is responsible for executing product priorities and merchandising strategy across stores in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic region. This role leads product initiatives and launches, sets targets, analyzes regional and store-level sales, and drives results through cross-functional coordination. The director serves as the local luxury expert, providing market feedback to influence buying and streamline store support. Responsibilities Ensure product launches and merchandising initiatives are consistently implemented across all stores in the region. Set targets with regional leadership and store teams, analyze sales by category, and develop action plans to achieve objectives. Partner with stores to address underperforming areas through stock allocation, visual merchandising, training, and clienteling. Manage the calendar of product initiatives and launches, coordinate cross-functional partners, and monitor project progress. Report financial results and provide qualitative feedback during and after initiatives. Act as liaison between corporate merchandising and stores by sharing market insights, competitive trends, and client feedback. Lead store visits with corporate and international partners and contribute to retail summit content and implementation. Requirements Strong product sensibility and knowledge of luxury product and competitive landscape. Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Self-starter with strong ownership, initiative, and accountability. Exceptional computer skills, including advanced Excel (functions, formulas, macros, VLOOKUPs, pivots) and advanced PowerPoint skills.
