Sonographer - Pediatric

This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to examine tissue and body structures, producing high-quality images for interpretation. Key Responsibilities Include Setting up and adjusting ultrasound equipment and transducers for exams Implementing safety standards and performing quality control Conducting routine and complex imaging studies, recognizing pathological findings Ensuring equipment functionality and reporting malfunctions Submitting accurate images and patient data to PACS Maintaining a clean and compliant department environment Supporting other imaging procedures as needed Qualifications And Skills Completion of a Sonography program Registered sonographer with two or more ARDMS/CCI registries in relevant specialties such as Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, Echo, or Vascular Ability to perform both routine and advanced scans Physical stamina for frequent standing, lifting, and patient handling Effective communication skills Certifications Required Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA Multiple ARDMS or CCI registries based on specialty, including RDMS, RMSKS, RVS, RVT, or RDCS with various echocardiography and vascular certifications Work environment: Night shift with benefits including paid parental leave, flexible payment options, and tuition coverage, supporting a diverse, inclusive workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rock Health
