The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. As a key member of our Equipment division, the Truck Mechanic will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources.# **Responsibilities*** Perform maintenance and repair work on company equipment, including heavy equipment, and mostly trucks.* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve them* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime* Ensure that all equipment-related activities are carried out in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements* Manage relationships with vendors and equipment manufacturers, negotiating contracts and resolving any issues in a timely manner* Develop and maintain equipment-related reports and metrics, and communicate equipment-related information to stakeholders* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in equipment maintenance and repair* Other duties as assigned# **Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent* Class E drivers license required* 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repairs with trucks (Semi experience, dealership experience, auto body shops).* Non-Travel - home every night.
