As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Trenton, NJ. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers. From preventative maintenance to advanced diagnostics and repairs, you will play a key role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipmentPerform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checksConduct detailed inspections to identify existing or potential mechanical issuesUtilize diagnostic software, tools, and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problemsMaintain accurate and detailed repair and maintenance documentationCommunicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and maintenance needsFollow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environmentEnsure all work is completed efficiently and to company standardsQualificationsProven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within the transportation or fleet industryStrong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systemsExperience using diagnostic software and repair equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagramsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordWhat's In It For You?Competitive Compensation $32.00 - $38.00/hour based on experienceExcellent Benefits Package100% Company-Paid Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) & Profit SharingPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysTool AllowanceSchedule Afternoon Shift: 2:30 AM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday)Overtime available and paid after 40 hoursHiring RequirementsAll candidates must successfully complete:Drug TestDOT PhysicalMotor Vehicle Record (MVR) CheckCriminal Background Check
