Reports to: Logistics Manager

Employment Type: Full Time/ Hourly / Non-Exempt

Pay Range : $26-28/hr. Depending on experience, qualifications, and applicable licenses/certifications.

Northeast Precast (NEP) has immediate openings for full-time CDL Class A Truck Drivers. Join a growing South Jersey company offering stable, year-round employment, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport precast concrete materials from our Vineland manufacturing facilities to job sites throughout New Jersey, with occasional deliveries to Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania

• Record shipment and delivery details accurately

• Assist set crews at job sites as needed

• Maintain trucks and equipment in a clean and safe condition

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license

• Acceptable motor vehicle record

• Minimum of 5 years of CDL driving experience

• Strong time management and communication skills

• Dependability, professionalism, and dedication to safety

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to work overtime as needed based on project demands

Schedule

This is a full-time position.

• Monday through Friday
• Typical start time between 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
• No overnight routes

Work Environment

This position regularly requires working outdoors and at active construction job sites in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. Drivers may be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, dust, noise, uneven surfaces, and heavy traffic conditions. Employees are required to follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. The position may also involve climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and securing heavy materials and equipment. Candidates must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
