Operations Manager

THE ORGANIZATION: Mid-Sized Reputable National Law Firm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Firm premises are well maintained and in compliance with safety standards
Routinely inspect office space for disrepair
Coordinate necessary repairs, renovations and maintenance work
Responsible for the planning, purchase and maintenance of office equipment
Identify and resolve facility problems
Manage space utilization, lease administration and other real estate related projects
Lead and facilitate vendor negotiations
Ensure that assigned office and desk spaces are setup properly
Coordinate with IT on computer setups and other support departments
Oversee all elements of Office Services team’s performance
Assess and evaluate department procedures
Recommend appropriate changes to department to enhance efficiency and productivity
Oversee the maintenance, safety and functionality of the Firm’s premises

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors is required
3+ years of relevant facilities operations management experience in an organization with multiple floors required
Proven experience managing and dealing with vendors
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Able to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize and work effectively with minimal supervision
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, firm management, and attorneys
Able to use discretion and exercise sound judgment
Able to maintain the utmost confidentiality
Flexible to travel when necessary
