Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiovascular Electrophysiologist to Serve Our Nation's Heroes

Location: Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA

We are seeking a full-time, permanent board-certified or board-eligible cardiovascular electrophysiologist to join our team at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. Our cardiovascular electrophysiology section is a cornerstone of the facility, recognized for its strong clinical and educational reputation in the area. Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Annual base salary ranging from $360,000 to $390,000.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Possess a full and unrestricted medical or surgical license from any U.S. state.
Engage in clinical practice.
Instruct cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.
Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultation services.
Conduct physical examinations and assess the physical requirements of military and civilian personnel.
Act as academic faculty for the cardiovascular fellowship training program.
Must be board eligible or board certified in cardiac electrophysiology.
U.S. citizenship is required; non-citizen applicants may be considered if no suitable U.S. citizen is found.

CME Reimbursement: Up to $1,000 per year (available for full-time employees with board certification).
