Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Rehabilitation

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Hours are dependent on the patient's schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient rehabilitation department. This role involves providing therapeutic interventions and support to patients recovering from various conditions. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills to work effectively with adults and geriatrics in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active SC State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
