What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, either autonomously or in collaboration with physicians based on credentialing
• Educating patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your scope of practice

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
