Overview:

Bassett Healthcare Network , in Central New York, is seeking a qualified BC/BE Urologist to join our staff.

• Salary Range: $515,000 - $619,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000
• Residency Stipend: Up to $60,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 6 MD’s and 7 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center
• Instant Referral Base provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians
• Full Support Staff including APC’s with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction
• Call Responsibility limited to Primary Hospital with APC’s taking 1st Inpatient Call
• State of the Art OR’s with one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE in Urology
• Completion of an accredited USA Urology Residency
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $515,000 - $619,000 with significant incentive potential.
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000
• Residency Stipend: up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation. If applicable, candidate must be permitted to receive the stipend under U.S. immigration laws
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
