Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Circulator with experience in total hip and total knee procedures. The ideal candidate will also have preferred experience in spinal surgeries.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Day 3x12-Hour
Shift Hours: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM
On-Call Requirements: Nights and weekends may be required, though this is rare.

Qualifications

Licensure: Current California RN license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an orthopedic circulator role, with specific experience in total hip and total knee surgeries; spine experience is preferred.
Charting System Experience: Proficient in Epic

Skills and Specialties

Candidates should possess expertise in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to:

Lobe resection
Lung resection - Thoracotomy
Appendectomy
Cholecystectomy
Colon resection
Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
Laparoscopic assisted procedures
Thyroidectomy (partial/total)
Arthroscopy
Closed reduction of fractures
Laminectomy/discectomy
Open reduction of fractures
Orthopedic/Spine surgery
Spinal Fusion
Total joint replacement
Cystoscopy
Laparoscopic assisted cases
Nephrectomy
Prostatectomy
Transurethral resection of the prostate
