Oracle Cloud ERP Architect

Visa Independent - local to DMV Position: Oracle Cloud Solution Architect (OCI / Exadata) Location: DC (Hybrid) Requirement: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Solution Architect to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives involving Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Exadata platforms (EXACS/EXACC). The role will focus on designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions, leading migration projects, and supporting mission-critical Oracle applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead OCI architecture design for compute, storage, networking, and database services.
• Architect and implement HA/DR solutions across OCI regions.
• Lead migrations from on-prem Exadata to OCI (EXACS/EXACC).
• Optimize performance, capacity, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with DBA, infrastructure, application, and security teams.
• Develop architecture documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.

• 10+ years of Oracle database and enterprise architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on OCI experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Exadata, Data Guard, RMAN, backup/recovery, and HA/DR architectures.
• Experience with VCN, subnets, load balancers, VPN, and FastConnect.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred OCI Architect Professional certification. Experience with PeopleSoft (FSCM/HCM/EPM), SOA/OIC integrations, Terraform/Ansible, and hybrid cloud environments.
