Job Description:

This position involves providing high-level nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit, with a focus on Neuro and Stroke cases, utilizing EPIC Charting. Flexibility to float to other units and facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and document patient conditions using EPIC Charting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care is maintained.
• Maintain flexibility in assignments and be willing to float to other units or facilities if required.

Requirements:

• Current Illinois RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
• Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
