Human Resources Expert

Job Summary Starting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour. Human Resources Experts support store leaders, teams, and guests by managing talent strategy, recruiting, training, scheduling, and compliance. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly smile, wave, and warm interaction within 10 ft and 4 ft respectively. Help guests locate items and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience. End each transaction with a sincere thank you. Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring experience. Work with HR leaders to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs for each area of the business, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates. Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices. Be approachable and available by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action as needed. Deliver on all HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Support compliance with company policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Work safely at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. Perform additional duties as required by business needs. Key Skills Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, workforce management programs, and scheduling software. Qualifications Friendly and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates. Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment. Effective communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Physical Requirements Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance. Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive‑Up or carry‑out. Remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
