Maintenance Supervisor

A great UHY client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor . The ideal candidate will have manufacturing plant maintenance experience with electrical and rotational equipment, experience in the gas, oil, or energy industry, and expertise in maintenance outage planning and execution. The Maintenance Supervisor role is an onsite position. This is a direct hire position. Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plant assets using both internal maintenance personnel and third‑party contractors. Partner closely with the RNG Operations and Plant teams to ensure reliable plant performance and successful maintenance outcomes. Ensure plant equipment is maintained in accordance with preventive maintenance programs to maximize production and asset reliability. Plan, coordinate, and communicate maintenance outages with plant personnel and support teams. Lead the planning and scheduling of major plant shutdowns and maintenance outages. Maintain knowledge of mechanical preventive maintenance programs, electrical systems, GEAMS, and compliance‑related maintenance schedules. Develop maintenance resource plans to support plant startup activities and ongoing operations. Identify critical spare parts and inventory requirements while developing strategies to maintain adequate onsite inventory. Analyze operational and maintenance data to identify opportunities for improved productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency. Support operations by maximizing equipment uptime while minimizing maintenance costs. Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and service providers performing onsite maintenance activities. Develop and manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and all workplace health and safety standards. Promote a safe work environment by ensuring maintenance personnel and contractors follow established safety procedures. Prepare maintenance reports, monitor equipment performance, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Maintenance Supervisor Requirements Prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment. Strong manufacturing plant maintenance experience, preferably involving electrical systems and rotating equipment. Experience within the gas, oil, energy, or gas processing industry is strongly preferred. Proven experience planning, coordinating, and executing plant maintenance outages and shutdowns. Experience developing preventive maintenance schedules for industrial equipment and facilities. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and equipment maintenance best practices. Experience managing maintenance budgets and understanding basic accounting principles. Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience coordinating third‑party contractors and maintenance service providers. Proficiency using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), monitoring equipment, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Ability to perform physical work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting up to 80 pounds, and working in industrial environments.
