The FOH Restaurant Manager oversees front-of-house operations to ensure excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and smooth daily restaurant functions. Managing a medium-sized team of 6-15 staff, the manager coordinates scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and conflict resolution while fostering staff training and development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address guest concerns promptly
- Manage, train, and develop a front-of-house team of 6-15 staff
- Create and maintain weekly staff schedules to optimize coverage
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishments
- Handle cash transactions and oversee daily cash reconciliations
- Resolve conflicts among staff and with customers efficiently
- Implement ongoing training programs to enhance team skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in restaurant management
