This role plays a critical part in improving financial visibility, driving accountability, and enabling informed business decisions across the supply chain.As a Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:Business Partnership & Financial LeadershipActing as the primary finance partner to the Cordant Solutions Global Operations Leader and Plant Leadership teams, including Sourcing, Quality, HSE, and Global Assembly PlantsProviding financial insights and analytics during monthly operating reviews and leadership staff meetingsPartnering with stakeholders to identify and execute margin expansion and cost control initiativesSupporting operational decision-making through financial analysis and business performance reviewsPlanning, Forecasting & ReportingLeading weekly forecasting processes, providing analysis and business context related to product line performanceSupporting Annual Plan (AP), Long Range Plan (LRP), and Short Range Plan (SRP) operating rhythmsOwning monthly and quarterly financial close activities, reporting packages, and management presentationsStudying long-term business trends and providing forward-looking insights to support growth strategiesSupporting resource planning and cost forecasting activities across the organizationFinancial Analysis & Operational PerformanceDriving detailed analytics across:Regional and product mix performanceApplied labor time and productivity metricsAs-sold versus as-executed margin analysisGross profit and overall margin performancePerforming reconciliations between financial ledgers and supporting operational systemsDeveloping business cases for capital investments, productivity initiatives, and operational improvement projectsSupporting billing, collections, and past-due management activitiesCost Optimization & Working Capital ManagementDriving cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives across supply chain operationsAnalyzing and implementing improvement actions related to:Material costsFreight and logistics expensesInventory levels and inventory turnsManufacturing variancesProductivity initiatives and cost savings programsSupporting inventory accounting and working capital management activitiesLeading burden rate calculations and productivity performance measurementsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related fieldHave a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or Operations Finance environmentDemonstrate strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilitiesHave experience supporting operational leaders within manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial organizationsPossess strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightsDemonstrate the ability to influence decision-making and work effectively across cross-functional teamsDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems and develop practical solutionsProven ability to lead projects and drive cross-functional initiativesAbility to develop, document, plan, and execute finance and operational programsEstablished project management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAdvanced proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft ExcelContinuous improvement mindset focused on productivity, cost optimization, and business performanceWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. Candidates for this role (office-based) must be located in or near the locations displayed above.
