CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time CATERING ATTENDANT position at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67214. Applications accepted online only. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Some weekends required. Full‑time. Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour. Two weeks of training provided. Job Summary Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans, disassembles, and returns items after events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables and decorations. Set up buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean location after event completion. Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law. Previous catering experience preferred.
