Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Oncology Travel RN to join their client based in Raleigh, NC. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care for outpatient infusion services at a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, with a strong focus on chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Deliver competent clinical nursing care in accordance with professional standards
• Participate in education programs to meet personal learning needs
• Coordinate patient care using nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams in care planning and evaluation
• Utilize effective communication with patients and families to assess discharge needs
• Promote a safe and secure hospital environment

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion
• One year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN or MSN preferred
