Registered Nurse - Night Shift (36 Hours) - Med/Surg Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15 (3x12-Hour shifts).

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. The unit has a total of 24 beds and maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5 to 6.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care to adults and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting.
Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement care plans as necessary.
Utilize EPIC documentation system for patient care records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support services including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy.
Participate in rapid response and code team situations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in Oklahoma or Compact RN license.
At least 2 years of recent charge nurse experience within a Med/Surg unit.
Experience with patient ratios of 5-6:1 during night shifts.
BLS certification required.
Must have experience with the EPIC documentation system.
