TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104!

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to work in a stressful environment. Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. This unit cares for all patients, some with telemetry orders. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6. Support is provided by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor technicians is available for telemetry patients. This is a trauma center serving a diverse population across all ages.
