Location: Pomeroy, WA
Pay: $22.50/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Medical Records & Front Desk Opportunity

We are hiring a detail-oriented and dependable Patient Service Representative to support a rural hospital team. This position is ideal for someone with strong computer and data entry skills who enjoys administrative work, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting patients in a professional healthcare environment.

In this role, you will support a large records digitization project by converting paper files into electronic patient records while also assisting with front desk and patient support functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan and upload paper documents into electronic patient files
• Perform accurate data entry and records management
• Assist with medical records digitization and file organization
• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate department
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Answer general patient questions or route inquiries appropriately
• Support daily front desk and administrative operations

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong computer proficiency
• Experience with data entry and electronic records
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently

Preferred Experience

• Data entry experience
• Front desk or receptionist experience
• Administrative or office support experience
• Healthcare, medical office, or hospital experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity for computer and scanning tasks
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to handle repetitive administrative tasks
