What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will handle residential HVAC service, repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and light installation work.

You will work on equipment such as:

• Furnaces
• Air conditioners
• Humidifiers and dehumidifiers
• Indoor air quality products
• Thermostats and controls
• Other residential comfort systems

You will be trusted to diagnose issues, communicate clearly with customers, provide options, and complete quality work that reflects well on you and the Tonna name. This is not just a “fix it and move on” role.

We want someone who understands that service work is part technical skill, part communication, and part trust-building. Customers remember how you made them feel just as much as they remember whether the system started running again.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who has already been in the field and knows what it takes to serve customers well.

The right person will have:

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and related HVAC equipment
• Experience with light installs, including indoor air quality products
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• A clean, safe driving record
• A valid driver’s license
• Good communication skills with customers and teammates
• Strong follow-through and organization
• A high level of integrity
• A team-first mindset
• A desire to keep improving as a technician

Pay and Benefits

Pay is based on experience and skill level.

Starting range: $30–$40/hour + bonus potential, with room for advancement.

Schedule

Our standard hours of operation are:

Our standard service hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

On-call and overtime may be required based on business needs, customer demand, and seasonal workload.

Physical and Other Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Work in residential settings
• Safely operate a company vehicle
• Pass a background check
• Pass required drug screens
• Complete required training
