Job Description

The Bodine Cancer Center at Jefferson Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist for a Per Diem position. This role provides coverage and clinical support for our team, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining high-quality standards in patient treatment and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality radiation oncology care to inpatients and outpatients on a per diem basis
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists
• Participate in tumor boards and clinical rounds as needed
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision to support staff
• Maintain timely and accurate medical records in the EMR system (EPIC)
• Comply with all institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Current Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in academic or high-volume clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity with advanced radiation techniques (IMRT, SBRT, IGRT, etc.)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Schedule:

• Per diem/on-call basis
• Flexible scheduling; may include weekdays and occasional weekends
