Production Trainee

Join A-1 Industries’ Production Training Program to gain hands-on experience building Roof Trusses, Floor Trusses, and EZWALL Framing Solutions. We’re looking for team members who demonstrate core values of Own It, Passion, Honesty, and Respect while supporting a safe, productive workplace.Job Responsibilities:Assist the Table Leader with assembling roof trussesLift, carry, and position lumber and materialsCut, fit, plate, and clamp componentsLabel and stack finished productsOperate hand tools (e.g., hammers) and basic machineryPerform other duties as assignedTraining Program Schedule:The paid Production Training Program takes place during your first week, Monday–Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Training includes hands-on production, safety procedures, and an introduction to company policies and culture.Employees who successfully complete training will transition to their regular work schedule the following week.Requirements and Skills:Construction, Carpentry, and General Labor experience preferred, but not required-Training program offered.High School graduate preferred, but not required.Authorized to work in the U.S.Must be fluent in English or Spanish.Work Environment:This job operates in a manufacturing site environment. Exposure to inclement weather and loud noise, all work will be performed outside.A-1 Industries is a Drug and Alcohol free workplace.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. It requires close vision, and depth perception three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships.
