The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Compensation Hourly base pay range: $12 per hour. Work Schedule The work schedule can include AM/PM shift times. Benefits Accident insurance Critical illness insurance Hospital indemnity insurance Telemedicine benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan (eligibility depends on classification, length of employment, and hours worked) Essential Functions Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greets guests within five feet and uses guest last names during interactions. Welcomes guests to the location, practices proper phone etiquette, and uses the day’s salutation. Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions. Delivers messages, items, and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations. Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collects claim checks prior to issuing keys. Maintains all ticket information, including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt. Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when required. Completes all responsibilities within a 100% time allocation across the above functions. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment. One month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of customer service principles and processes. Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information to guests and coworkers. Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division on three‑digit numbers). Understanding of 24‑hour and military time, rate calculations for time passed, and operation of a manual transmission (highly desirable). Ability to perform parallel parking. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work frequently involves sitting or standing for extended periods. May require running, walking, handling objects, using tools or controls, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Visual requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus. Lifting: up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly. Work is largely outdoors; exposure to extreme heat and cold weather. Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
