About the Role:

Trinity General Contracting LLC is looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team in Valdosta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping project success from the ground up — before the first nail is ever driven. Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing

Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure best value

Conduct site visits and assessments to identify potential project challenges and cost factors

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients throughout the pre-construction phase

Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating software

Track bid results and assist in post-bid analysis to improve future estimates

Requirements:

2+ years of estimating experience in general contracting or construction

Must be able to generate own Leads for residential and commercial work.

Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar)

Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and subcontractor trades

Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and vendor interaction

Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
