Maintenance Technician- 2nd shift

Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.Essential Responsibilities:Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant.Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment.Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes.Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtimeCompleting work orders & PM paperworkRegular and timely attendance are an expectation of the positionFollow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processesRequirementsForklift experience is preferred but not required.Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilitiesCompetencies:Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company.Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.Physical Requirements: Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Visual Acuity: ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.Core Values:Service – Striving to provide the best experience for our customers and suppliers by making intentional actions and decisions to benefit others.Organization – Possessing a fanatical commitment to operating clean, consistent, and efficient facilities.Growth – Dedication towards continual improvement within our journey to become a better company.Pride – To be proud of, and believe in, our company and the products and services we provide.
