Role: Controller
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000/annually Bonus & Benefits


Location: *Fully Remote*


Job Description:

• Scalable Infrastructure: Establish a sophisticated and scalable accounting framework designed to support rapid company growth and platform expansion.
  
  
• Operational Excellence: Direct daily accounting operations (AP/AR, payroll) and manage external service providers to ensure a high-performing controllership function.
  
  
• The Monthly Close: Own the end-to-end monthly close process, continuously optimizing workflows to achieve best-in-class timeliness and accuracy.
  
  
• M&A & Transaction Support: Partner with the VP of Finance on acquisitions, leading workstreams for closing/opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, and Quality of Earnings (QofE) roll-forwards.
  
  
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages for the management team, including 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts.
  
  
• Treasury & Banking: Own all corporate bank accounts, leading the consolidation of banking relationships and maintaining rigorous security management.
  
  
• Internal Controls & GAAP: Design and maintain accounting policies to ensure full GAAP compliance across revenue recognition, inventory, capitalization, and expense management.
  
  
• Systems Innovation: Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of ERP systems and related technologies to drive efficiency across the platform.
  
  
• Audit & Tax Management: Act as the primary lead for annual audits and tax workstreams, ensuring seamless coordination with external advisors and timely compliance.
  
  
• Integration Strategy: Support the deal team by identifying post-close accounting risks and driving the integration of newly acquired operating companies.
  
  
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
