Job Title Speech Language Pathologist Location Oklahoma Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, including equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program issuance, and planning for continuing services Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions with flexibility in caseload management, ensuring the plan of care is communicated and progressed throughout the length of stay Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory agency requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Required Qualifications Active Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing (or eligibility to practice in Oklahoma) Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge Knowledge of and adherence to the discipline-specific professional code of conduct and applicable State Practice Act Ability to complete thorough and timely medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in an inpatient or acute care hospital setting Familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration and discharge planning processes Active involvement in professional development, continuing education, and professional organizations Why Join Us Immediate start available with a structured 13-week contract assignment offering valuable clinical experience Work within an organization that prioritizes patient safety, quality of care, and a collaborative team environment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #778383.
