CDL Class A Driver

A Company in Lithia Springs is looking for a CDL Class A Driver responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, delivering goods on time, and following all safety and DOT regulations. The role includes inspecting the truck, managing cargo, maintaining accurate logs, and providing good customer service. Candidates must have a valid CDL, a clean driving record , and the ability to pass required screenings, while experience and routing knowledge are preferred. Overall, the job requires a reliable, safety-focused driver with strong time management and communication skills. A Day in the Life: Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork. Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured. Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately. The Must-Haves Valid Class A CDL. A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards. Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card. Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance Preferred Requirements At least 2 years of Driving experience. Experience with GPS and routing software.
