Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele RN for a contract position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The selected candidate will play a critical role in monitoring patient health, managing care plans, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about care processes and health conditions.
• Document patient data accurately in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Professional RN license in Ohio or compact state is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
• Active certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
