Senior Paralegal (Commercial Litigation)

Burstyn Law is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our team in a hands-on role supporting complex, high-stakes, business litigation across state and federal courts in Miami and New York. The right candidate will work closely with attorneys at every stage of litigation, from pre-suit through to trial preparation.

Responsibilities

· Draft and assist in preparing legal documents

· Manage case files across litigation matters

· Conduct factual investigations and legal research

· Coordinate and liaise with clients, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors throughout all phases of litigation

· Attend court hearings and depositions to support attorneys as needed

· Handle electronic filings in state court and federal court

· Ensure that all files and resources are maintained within Firm-approved protocols and case management systems

· Provide general office and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

· 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience

· Proficiency with Westlaw and document review platforms (Relativity experience is a plus)

· Ability to e-file in both state (courtMAP) and federal (PACER) courts

· Strong analytical, organizational and written communication skills

· Works well both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team
