Job Title: Registered Nurse – Home Hospice Duration: March 23 – June 20, 2026 Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Work Setting: Onsite Location: Burlington, WI 53105 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality hospice care to patients in a home setting. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care that prioritizes comfort, dignity, and emotional support for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. The ideal candidate will be skilled in hospice practices and committed to supporting both patients and their families through every stage of care. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with established care plans. Assess patient conditions, monitor symptoms, and implement appropriate interventions to ensure comfort and quality of life. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, and therapists to coordinate care. Educate patients and family members on disease progression, medications, and end-of-life care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Provide emotional support and compassionate guidance to patients and caregivers. Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Must have prior hospice experience. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently while managing patient needs effectively.
